I am advised jointly between Arlen Johnson and David Taylor, co-director of the Sauer Structural Biology Laboratory at UT. My research interests include structural analysis of pre-ribosomal complexes, and investigating how nascent ribosomes are tested for structural integrity as they mature. Outside lab I enjoy running marathons, fly fishing, rock climbing, and playing all kinds of music.
